They will be coming off of a 97 E300 Diesel (black car in the picture). I am assuming they will fit on my 2000 E55. They come with Toyo Proxes. The tires are only 235s though, my current tires are 245s.

Wondering if these would look good on a silver car?

The silver car in the pic shows the rims that are currently on my car, I like them.

IMHO, the AMG wheels that are on the black E-class are kinda old school. They will look nice on W124 but not on W210 but again this is just my opinion.

 

Looks better suited on the W124 as someone already mentioned. Just stick with your current rims.

 

Keep what you already have. Use the budget to lower the car.

There are a million 210 E55's that have the AMG rims from the black car. I prefer them, then it would just like my 210 E55 did.

Having said that, they look a heck of a lot heavier than what you're wearing now. That's a performance negative but aesthetic positive.

There are only 4,000 maybe 2000-2002 E55's in the world/2000 or less in the USA and CAN and they come with light AMG wheels! ((Not a Million))

Go with an HRE, BBS, CEC 19" wheel or the factory AMG wheels 245-18 / 275-18 tires. The wheels on your car don't look bad just small with the wrong size tires. happy hunting Your E55 is SWEET!
