How much would u pay?

I am going to see this car tomorrow, I'm not too good at haggling. The mileage (27K miles) is pretty good for a 02.

Any help is appreciated.

For that amount money you could probably buy JamE55's '02 with only 10K miles that has AT LEAST that much in Kleemann mods. Cleanest '02 (other than mine which I sold last year ) I've ever seen. I think Cory has made some "special" one-off modifications that no other car has. If you want a W210 E55, his is definitely one to consider if he's still serious about parting with it.

2005 E55 silver
Edmunds is listing it around $31K (Dealer Retail) for a clean car. The timeport phone is actually worthless. It runs off the old CDMA (I think) phone network. So you'll have to upgrade it to something newer. I would haggle hard and low. Maybe Jam will make you a deal.

Multiple
00-01s are going for low 20s with moderate mileage. Granted 23k is great mileage, but $35k is way too much.

Thanks all, I went to see the car and it had three big scratches on the passenger side which looked like someone had keyed it. It also had the instrument (where the speedometer is) light messed up, it was brighter on one side. The dealer said he will fix the instrument ($1500) and try to buff out the scratches as best he can, if I buy the car for the listed price 35K.
I told him that it was supposed to be a CPO so there should not have been anything wrong with it. To make a long story short I told him to shove it.

Sounds like a rip off artist dealer. I would stay away no matter what they have on the lot.

lol i don't think jam's car will be anywhere close to that price though EVER ;p
if it was i'd buy it tomorrow

as far as price on a CPO car, it all depends on it's condition, one CPO car can be better than another (different state different driving conditions etc.) what's nice about cpo car though is the fact that you can buy an additional 2 years warranty on top of the 1 year that comes with the cpo, that's 3 total years up to 100k, MB cpo warranty not third party crap. that's almost like buying a new car.

I have one for sale.... Mileage is a little high... but this car never gives me any problems.... other than few minor things: new instrument cluster was installed 3 years ago... new MAF was installed <1 year ago.

Service A was recently done... transmission was recently serviced.

CA car... never been in accident, never seen snow, rarely seen rain.

Click on my sig to see the pictures.... Please PM if you are interested.

Thanks.

I didn't realize a 2002 E55 can fetch that kind of money. Heck, if you really want one, you can have mine Just make me an offer. It has 36K miles, Mercedes Starmark warranty until October 2007, and it is sitting in the storage under the car cover. See my profile for the car option. Good luck in your search.
