This one

And possibly an SUV in the near future.... like the Q7, but they didn't seem to sell well.... waiting until the price is around mid to high 30's for the V8 and loaded one.

Damn! Nice car. So you just got this recently? I like it. Wish I could afford one. Are you gonna keep the stock wheels look? (assuming you having bought anything yet)

Well this all makes sense. Too bad I could wait a year and bought our 55. But waiting for these aren't easy.

Good luck in the future!

Yes... 3 weeks ago.

Stock wheels they are.... until I need to replace the tires (probably in 3 months or so) and I'll decide then. I just wish the rears have lips like my C55.

For now, I may just replace the steering wheel.... it feels flimsy...

I'm more of a lip person myself.

The grip diameter is smaller.... minimal thumb grip... airbag is not stitched like W210, the steering wheel multifunction button is rubber (I'd guess easier to get worn), etc. etc. etc. There is nothing to like about W211 steering wheel.

What did you end up getting for your 2001 E55? I have the same year, color, options, car for sale here in NorCal too. Mine just clicked over 58k miles. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/car/335030552.html

$21K. I believe I could've gotten more if I were more patient. I think yours could sell around $24K given lower miles and navigation. $29K - your payoff - is a bit too much, IMO.

Good luck!

Not sure.... modded cars' values are just pure luck.

If you get another enthusiast who would like to get a modded car in one package, you'll get a very good price. W/ 10-20K miles (correct?) like yours, it could still be mid to high 30's.

If you get a regular buyer who doesn't care much about the mods, you'll get the avg. non-modded car or may be slightly more. In this case, high 20's to low 30's given the mileage.

If you get a nervous buyer who thinks the car has been abused, you'll get lower than avg. non-modded car.

The biggest chance is the 2nd scenario. It's pure luck... you just need to be patient if you want to get more.

Wow, I'm speechless. You owe 29K?
Honestly, I've been in the market for quite sometime now and I doubt
you'd get that much.
I've seen Zoink's car and IMHO it's pristine and worth more than 21K.
Good luck on the sale!

Hey ZoinK, what's up man?

There is this clean 02 with 8K miles for 37K available:

I doubt the dealer would get that price for it though.

Hey Rob.... not much, man. I'm in the East Coast again.... damn, pollen.... I've got the worst allergy over here.... Even my medicine seems to have a hard time to keep up.

Too bad the timing didn't work well between us.... otherwise, I could still see my car often. I somewhat miss it.... luckily, so far my new car serves me well....
