Car dies after hot run...
Very common with Fords with the same symptoms. The moment the crankshaft position signal is lost, the engine will stall. Sooner or later, the sensor will go out all together (Fords CPS sensor uses magnets for the sensor.....after a while, the magnet comes apart causing the failure) It usually never sets a check engine light and service advisors would "No Problem Found" the visit until the vehicle totally will not start (unfortunately, after stranding the customer on the side of the highway) The stalls are always reported after the engine is warmed up. I hope this helps.

I had a similar experience with my 55. The car would get to 85-90°C and die. A ten minute cool-down and it would fire back up. Changed the CPS (Crank Position Sensor) and all is well. I paid about $80 delivered for the part. There is only one bolt and one wire but it's a bit tucked away on the driver's side of the bellhousing. For the price/effort this would be a good place to start.

Thank you all again. Only if the damn S600 was this easy to upkeep...
the crank shaft position sensor just wear out with time, the little gaskets around it (o-rings) deteriorate and let oil touch the sensor thus destroying it, very common problem
