Side Marker Delete
Tried searching for this, but no luck. Does anyone here have the side markers deleted? I would like to go all black, but the clear ones wouldn't be too bad either. Also, any other place to get them but Ebay would be good too.

Take it out and paint it with mercedes 040 black is the best/cheapest option, or buy a european bumper. However, you do know its illegal to not have front side mounted turn signals. I don't know where you live but even in bumb f u ck north dakota i get harrased for my dark tail lights. so i could only imagine if i blacked out the turn signal. Another option is translucent paint, or tinting film.

you can buy Euro bymper strips (400 for a pair), no need to replace whole bumper... I gad mine painted looks so much better(free body shopd did it as a favor), if you decide to paint do 2 or more layers... tinting spry might be an option too...

if you paint the clear lense you get more light out. the factory amber lense show less light when painted over. Try spraying a light coat over it and wait til it dry than another coat, enough to get it cover it in black don't over spray with a heavy coat.

I have read somewhere in here a long time ago that they was a lightbulb delete (so you have no light) by installing some type of resistor or something so that you don't get a false reading in the dash. Don't remember when or where I read this but I know it's in here if you guys try a search. Also, couldn't you maybe paint the bulb itself with high heat black engine paint or cover it with electrical tape?

I Would Install the EURO Bumper strips as the Euro Strip is a Lot better looking without the Ugly Amber side marker
One can install a inline resistor (instead of a Bulb) as the bulb check system measures resistance ....
Or
Zip tie the Bulb out of the way
Tape or Paint will burn off of the bulb ... been there done that

Just checked the evosport website. They still have some for sale, but I am not sure if they have black. They have a picture of the replacements on a silver car and they look damn good. I could definatley do that over replacing the whole bumper strip.
