E55 without a sunroof?
Is there a model of E55 210 that does not have a sunroof? And according to the Vehicle Datacard the delivery date was 03 07 1998. Is this car considered a 98 or 99 model? thanks for any reply

E55 AMG Estate W210 1998
Well, my car does not have a sunroof. It's the estate version, registered 12/8/98. Can't say I miss not having one. It does have a/c though

I could tell you that a moon roof/sunroof is standard equipment for a 99 W210 E55s. Given the production date, you may have a 98 model. Drop your VIN # in this link, and let us know what year model E55 you own. http://www.dmv.org/vehicle-history.php

This is possible on special order. My boss had one special ordered without sunroof so it's not uncommon...

My 97 E420 didn't have a sunroof either so there was a lot of headroom. Probably the way to go if you're really tall...

no vin# just chassis and engine #
Sorry guys up to now i could not get the right info on my car since i do not have a vin# instead only chassis, engine and transmission# only. So, is there anybody who can advice me on where to link on this?Thanks

Your VIN number should be located on your front lower windshield, just look around!

Sunroof.
My car is a 1998 E55 estate ordered on november 18th 1997 and build in january 1998.

The buildsheet indicate that the fitted glass sunroof is an option (ref 414).
