Any DFW folks up for the open track nite at Ennis this Friday?
[Xpost; I originally posted this on CLK55 forum.]
From what someone posted here recently, it's this Friday, from 7PM until midnight. I've never been, but I'd like to see what this thing will do in the 1/4 mile!
Anyone else interested in going? We could see if some C32, E55 (and even some M3/M5) folks want to show up and have some good-natured German fun (and rivalry if some Bimmer guys show up!)

YOur times are a result in the altitude difference. Cars run better at sea level. That is one of the things corrected for on a chassis dyno I believe.

yea, bay town is 26 feet below sea level and ellis county, where ennis is is about 750 to 775 feet above sea level. Time at the mile high track in Colorado are even worse. Your motor needs that thick air down on the ground to run good. Anyway, 3 tenths is no big deal. Both tracks are know to be tracks where records are borken for NHRA pro stuff.
