Rims I want

This is a link to the wheels that I want for my E. Anybody had any experience with Vellanos? I like the VSH (see gallery, esp. the CLS55, CLS500, and the 997 all in black/black/black of course).

As much as I like the brushed finish, the black center with chrome lip I think would look the best. I also like the new VSF in the black triple finish.

I do fear that these rims may be "too much" for the car, as it is an understated sedan in terms of looks.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

2000 E55 AMG
I think they would look great on a black W210 E55. My only concern would be the offsets. OEM is 31MM F; 35MM R. I am currently running aftermarket 32MM upfront with stock 245's and barely fit. Good luck.

They look stunning... they would also show the calipers very well!

personally i think these thin 5 spoke rims like the one in the link, SSR GT3, etc do NOT work so well with the boxy designed W210.

if you're bored with AMG monoblocks, i recommend BBS LM - timeless design and would look killer on your E55

g'luck, searching is half the fun

I think I like the VSM or VSI in brushed finish as well but maybe the black would look nice too. I agree that thin 5 spoke or less wheels look better on the newer cars that have more curves. Either way, you have to like them and all we can do is offer our opinions so good luck and post some pics!

have you priced them? They are expensive wheels for such an older model car IMO. those may be $4k a set.

These particular ones are $5500 for the set. A bit pricey in my opinon. I also love the Monoblocks and would be the first one to buy a set if they came in 19s.

The point about think spoke rims on the boxy E55 is well noted, and something that kept me from getting the rims right away.

The "dish" rims or ones with more surface area do not appeal to me nor do the snowflake like BBS style wheels. Too much going on for me.

Oh well. I'm not in a rush and the search is more than half the fun!

Check out the new Automonde 3pc line.

Black lips with two tone brush/black centers will look very good on your car.

Where can I find these replicas? Will they be as struturally sound as the OEM 18's? I will buy these if they are legit!

These might look badass with black centers. Got any pics of them with a black center and mounted on a car?
