HOT deal on Magnecor Wires!!!
I just ordered my new Magnecor spark plug wires 2 days ago (8.5mm Magnecor part #85240 for E55) for really cheap! I mean I researched the crap out of these and they're going for $251 bucks plus shipping everywhere including Magnecor's website. I found a site called Alamo Motorsports where I ordered them for $170.02 shipped. Here is the site's link to the wires: http://www.alamomotorsports.com/Magn..._mercedes.html

Hmmm, if all goes well I hope no longer than a couple of hours. You wanna come by when I do this and kick back, have a beer or diet soda (since your're on a roll) and watch? You're more than welcomed to Jamespearmintrhino, lol...

Are these wires already cut in length and have the ends put on. Is it read to go? What makes these any better than? Can I use the same ones on an ML430. Its all the same engine set up Right?

Also Jimmy what plugs are you going with? I have to change my wife's ML430 she has almost 120000 on the same plugs. When it's cold in the morning it runs a bit rough.

Raffi, yes these are the correct length and you just have to find the part # for the ML and order them. From what I gather they're just very well made to OEM specs if not better. This will probably be the last set of wires you'll ever get according to what I've read. As for plugs, I'm just using Bosch Plats as used by MB. I was going to use the NGK Iridiums but everyone claimed there weren't any gains from them and to stick to stock so I am.

Yes, that is a very good price and I'd jump on it. I paid about a buck and a half more for each of mine. I'll probably do them in about a week or two because I'm slammed with work. Instead of watching, just get your parts and come over, we'll do both cars at the same time!
