My E55 came with a damaged aftermarket spoiler and I removed it. I filled the holes and repaired the lid but can notice the filler. I have been searching for a spoiler ever since and stumbled upon this.
Please give me your opinions as I cannot decide whether or not it would look good on my 55.

I am sorry I just don't like this either. Maybe just a little lip spoiler which may not cover you holes.

In my opinion...the tall spoiler in that Ebay ad is 'hideous'.

There was only one rear spoiler that I've ever seen that looks "acceptable" for the W210 cars...and it was on a car on this forum's site. I can not recall whose car it was however....but it was in a recent posting. It was on a black '01 E55....the owner never did tell any of us curious E55 owners where he obtained it from or how much it cost....even though about five of us (me included) asked about it specifically.

Guess he wants to make sure his vehicle is more special than the rest of ours?

Any rear spoiler that is lifted up off the trunk surface and into the air, like this one on Ebay, appears to mimmic the 'tasteless look' of Jap cars like the Subaru WRX or the Mitsubishi Evo... but hey, that's just my opinion.

Hey Peter, This is a bit of a hijack but do you have an under body picture of how your exhaust is done. I was going to do the split like yours and they were going to run the pipe along the bumper. And are your tips just aftermarket look alikes.

Right on Peter! That spoiler looks terrific on the back of your AMG...(where did you buy it?) and also...those quad pipes are awsome guy!!
I have a black car myself....but don't have the $ for the exhaust mods.....sure would do it in a heartbeat if it were inexpensive....something tells me its not however...
Again...if you feel kind enough to share with us where you located that rear spoiler...that'd be cool.
Its the only look for this car that has any class....

I got it from Ebay they came in a package deal with the Lorinser roof spoiler,$364 included shinpping seller is (ararat_2007).
I haven't seen it on Ebay lately. Search W210 spoiler on Ebay or try e-mail seller angel@carsltd.com. I still got his info off my Paypal acct.

I didn't like the roof spoiler so I sold it to a member on this forum.
Both piece make the car look out of place.

I love the rear spoiler too.

I think Pete only has the stock exhaust. It was some other Austrailian member here who had the quad exhaust. He said it only cost him about $350 aussie dollars, but I don't remember reading a follow up to that thread.

Peter is this true. Or did you sneak in the dual exhaust when we weren't looking. If so please take a picture of the set up from underneath so we can see how it's done

Peter....I looked around Ebay....nothing similar to your spoiler for sale these days....

I'd rather go with no spoiler than buy a dumb one....yours is tasteful....nice find!

I purchase a lorinser style trunk spoiler from the same guy, fits perfectly and love it much.

It not rubber, it made out of some sort of fiberglass material and it molded to fit over the the little hump on the trunck lid.

It also add 10hp to your car

Excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me! Oh well then it is the best mod for the money. I've heard it adds twice as much HP if you put it on while standing on one foot.
