Hey,
Stopped at the dealer today and found a nice 99' e55...104000miles, for 15,000$ everything seemed to be great...condition was immaculate, and im extremely picky...what do you guys think about this deal? Thanks in advance, Will.

about right price for 99s. Honestly though getting the 2000+ is much more worth it, totally different interior bits and alot of changes including the better transmission. Mercedes said they made over 200 changes between 99 & 00 so I would spend $1k more for a 2000.

very good points...i actually think im going to go with a 2001 e430 4-matic instead...kind of caught between the 2

lol. I had both the pre-facelift 97 E420 and the post-facelift 01 E55 Raff. I must say that equally are beautiful but I like the subtle upgrades in the 00-02 models. The front end for one is sleeker, the steering wheel controls and upgraded cluster are nicer features and the taillights too!

well, all in all...the e55 was in fact a fake...went back and inspected today...it is a debadged e430, rebadged as the e55....huge indications...i was kind of let down but then again, i love the e430 and i can get that at a better price, and it is much more taken care of...going to drive the e430 on wednesday...
