Auction Value?

Does anyone know what our cars are going for at auction right now. More specifically 2000 E55. I need one close to 114K miles.

It's time to trade it in for something new. Unfortunately it will have to be a lesser car. But I need to have an idea what I'm working with so the stealers can't hassle me

A website or something I can access would be best to prove anything?

Thanks

Unfortunately, your high mileage is the culprit here. Trade in value would sit at about $10.3K. Surprisingly, I own an identical 00 E55 with only 56K on the clock; trade in value = $16.3K. Good luck.

Carmax just offered me 9K. Freakin crazy. I think I'm gonna have to do it before I get anymore screwed by keeping it.

Not the best replacement, but a 2006 sentra SER is what I'm looking at. Since I'm upside down 4K it's all I can afford right now. This sucks

i just checked the value on my 01 with 76K, auctions are selling at $15-18K average value. that hurts a lot! our cars were $70K+ only 6-8yrs ago. talk about a depreciation!!!

ohh, are you parting any stuff of your car? i would be interested in the headlight bulbs setup you have (headlights, fogs and LED markers). i would give you mine in trade. perhaps a trade in wheels too? since your trading the car in anyways??

lmk your thoughts...

Aj

for $17k, can u think of another car that gives 370hp/392lb ft of torque, 25MPG on the highway, superbly comfy & relaxing drive, & enough room to seat 5 and 4 golfbags in the trunk? i cant..

'99 E55 AMG
Even though I traded in my '99 E55 just over a month ago....I still come back to read this forum from time to time...

Your question about "auction" values is a good one....I don't know about "auctions"....but I was only offered between $13k-16k for my 'immaculate' '99 with only 76k miles and a ton of dealership maintenance done to it....(way too many new parts to list here!)

I took the $16k I was offered from Audi and although I was still $6 grand upsidedown...I let her go. The articles I kept reading about 'failing catalytic convertors' really spooked me....all of mine were in perfect working order....but I was sweating it out each day I started her up!

The 2.7 liter biturbo engine I have now in my '04 A6 gets almost the exact same mpg as my E55. While it has about 85 bhp less than the Merc! Must be that damned Quattro AWD system eating up the gas mileage...

I miss my E55 all the time....but I now have a car that is five years newer...and it has a 4 yr 50k mile Audi warranty. So, while I am not driving as fast as I used to haul in my Mercedes....I sleep a little better each night.

My 01 E55 will arrive today and I would be interested in your take off. I am just getting started. Let me know if you have any items for sale.
Will post pictures soon.

Anyone out there who have current auction values of both w210 and w211 E55's?
I'm just curious since AMG cars are taking big hits re: wholesale and trade-in values...

Whoa poor AMG's... taking drastic hits like the housing market.
But on that note, now is a good time to buy one! and it'll be worth it as long as it's clean, well-maintained, and a keeper.
