car looks great! why don't you invest 10 bucks and get the blue-colored wedge bulbs to match your depo headlights?

Sweet ride!!

Don't care much for the flat hood emblem though. It just doesn't look good on the W210. I like it on W211

I think these are 20s..but Mike will let us know...BTW Mike , if they are 20s then it looks like you re running 275-25 in the rear ...how is that on our roads here in Miami? It s a little hard for me here and I only have 19s !!
Good looking car !

Thanks for all the compliments guys! My wheels are 20's im running 245/30/20 up front and 285/25/20 rear. No rubbing at all...It actually sits alittle high for my taste still but I can live with it for now..

Thanks again!
Mike.

Looks very nice, I would love to put those wheels on my car but that would be a death wish with these roads in New England. You Floridians are lucky

Funny, I started of with the Star when I bought my E55, then changed to a flat hood emblem, but after reading your post I started to look at some old pics of my car when I had the MB star, and now I'm 99% sure that I agree with you now, the W210 looks really great with the MB star. I think I might change back from the flat hood one

And MG420 >> Car looks great!!!!! Low the wheels and lights. But like you said, a little drop in the future would make it perfect

WOw, i love the headlights!!! the rims look sick as well!

did you change from stock HID to the depot lights? i thought they didn't make DEPO lights for the 01/02 models??? can you give me a link to them please, very interested in buyin a setup for my car. i'd love to put a brighter set of HIDs in there along with some in the fog lights...

Looks good, I also just got the Depo's put on and it looks great, I have a suggestion for you though, either take out the inner lights or replace them with led's, also take take out the bulbs on the sidemarkers, it looks too busy otherwise. Clean ride though..

Im going to slap on some 20s also in the spring, does anyone know if 245/35/20 upfront will rub? I know 30 series is suggested but the roads a bit rough for that here.. anyone know?

If you are gonna lower it with H&R's most likely it wont rub with 245/35's up front.

I keep seeing this and it just baffles me ! A 245/35/20 is a full 1" larger in diameter than the stock tire which was setup for the car, 26.75 vs 25.75. Not only is it going to rub if you lower it, but it will rub everynow and then even without lowering, pending the bumps you go through and how stiff your suspension is . Apart from that , you will tampering with the original geometry of the car ( not a good idea ) . Even if you do that to the front and lets say it doesnt rub, what do you do about the rear? 30/20 ? Same issue, but now you have a speedometer problem. Also , you have to consider the actual weight of the 20" wheels you put on, if you dont go with some really high end LIGHT weight wheels, between the wheels and the 20" tires you will have boat anchors on four corners = more stress on the hubs/bearings.
Just my long winded 2c !!!

Actully I don't want to lower it, hoping the gap won't be too big when I put them on, I mean I could go for the 235/30's up front and 275/25s in the back but I don't want to have bent wheels after a first serious pothole that's all.

How much do the stock AMG 18's weigh? The rims im looking at weigh around 35LB each, should be ok I think.
