That install thread talks about using a screwdriver on the paint of the car...Ouch! if you look inside the fender well you will see a black plastic liner. On my car there was a little triangle hole that you can reach your finger or a screwdriver up thru and get to the little lever that holds the marker light in place. Once you get the new lights in the mail and examine them you should be able to see the lever I'm talking about. Really easy to remove. However when I got my clear markers (not from 123mercedes) the little fingers that grab the front edge of the bumper were a little big so I had to spend a few minutes trimming them with an exacto knife. You may want to compare the new ones to your stockers before trying to install them.
