my next project. i only have the star in the back though, the rest is debadged and in front is a flat emblem. a nice flat matte star would look really good on a black car.

a fellow forum member did this, he said it wasnt too hard and looks really good. based on the pics i saw i would have to agree.

Same here, debadged. All I have is the Silver star on the trunk. How's it look in black?

yeah i dont have an amg, but yeah i would never debadge such an awesome car.

i think if you dont have anything sweet to brag about it looks good with less badges and model numbers on a car.

i think it looks good on a black car, i just think it would look better with a flat black star instead of the silver one.

Which is why i'm thinking of adding the badges again. Not sure if I want them blacked out or not. Hmmmmm

I purchased my baby debadged. I liked it at first.....

I keep mine completely debadged. I let only the keen eyes realize I drive an AMG. I like the subtlety that I have knowing I can run with the obvious performance heavy weights.
