Ortho Seat Problem...

Ortho Seat Problem...
I have the ortho seat option. It worked fine until a couple months ago. Pass seat still works. I am a big guy, 6'3" 260, so figure might have blown a fuse from it working too hard (IDK). I have looked for a fuse and could not find one for it in any of the 3 fuse locations (maybe it's tied to another one?).
Anyone found a DIY for this malfunction? My lower back is acting up and I'd love to fix it without making a dealer run...God only knows what that would run.
TIA

Sorry to high jack your thread, but were the multi-contour seats standard on 2001 and 2002 E55s or an option? If they were an option, how can you differentiate between seats that have them and those that do not?

Multi contour seats were standard on 210 E55s for all years. The only option for seating was the ventilated seats. If the passenger seat lumbar works, I'll bet money on there being a leak on the drivers side circuit.

Multi-contour will have a control box near the seat belt buckle and center console on each seat. It will have four controls: 3 wheels (legs, lower back, upper back) and one "rod" (bolsters).
All US E55 came standard with multi-contour and heated seats. Cooled seats were a (rare) option. Other countries, as Fabio pointed out, are different. Honestly, my CLK (non-contour) seats were better than my E55 (contour) seats.
