H pipe question

has anyone tried the H pipe instead of the X pipe? will it give the same or more power thasn the X pipe? thanks!

Probably less. The H pipe makes it much harder for exhaust pulses to cross paths, as it must make a 90 degree turn.

Not friend, the effect is the same, but the 90° in the exhaust systems is no good at all H pipe have 2 points with 90°, the X pipe works better

oh i see . so i will be better if i use the x pipe instead of the H pipe.....?

Yha! are you correct my friend don't forget to take some pics to us!
are in my plans install them in the second cats place, but i want to upgrade the all system & deleat resonator, i remove all 4 cats but the exhaust sound are pretty like to the factory, i want a little louder. i need to purchase the X pipe (magnaflow 2.5") & is not available in my country ****ing chavez

oh that sucks. i alread have headers,custom 2.5inch pipes and primary and secondaru cat delete and alos a custom 24inch stainless race resonator plus the H pipe so ill be removing the H pipe and do the X pipe.

I recommend you made this little change, but really the difference is noticiable in the Dyno charts, you can't feel the difference in driveability response, i'm sure. in a 360hp's engine you can't feel 2 - 3 more hp's

I too am putting the X-pipe in place of my secondary cats. You can have your exhaust shop make you an X-pipe. It's really not that hard. So don't loose hope.
