Basically, Depos will not work well with the HIDs that (I'm assuming) you have on your E55. You either need to convert to halogen with the Depo, or you (ideally) need to cut open the Depo and retrofit a pair of HID projectors as detailed in this post:

wtf is that, my output looks nothing like that, mine is spread out even and I got the DEPO's with an H7 kit.

The depo's original projector blows complete *** as the people above me have clearly discovered. Especially if you are using HID's. Unless your using a halogen bulb, don't waste your time with depo's if your not going to modify them. they sure look cool and everything but you probally would have better lighting with the OEM headlights and hid's. (Not that im recommending that)
