Hanging part help
Anyone know what in the F this is or more importantly how to put it back? I noticed it hanging after I got back from my exhaust work. I figured it wouldn't be a problem to put back but I don't see how to do it.

I've been around long enough to understand this is how the forums work, but it stinks knowing if I posted something stupid there'd be 15 replies but when I can't figure out a part no one else knows either. Oh well, I'm just going to take it by the dealership on Friday and let them figure it out.

that piece goes in between the rear bumper cover and the body of the car, on the rear driver's side.
to put it back on you have to remove the rear bumper cover to gain access to the area and re attach the piece that's hanging.

sure does ... while i was looking for it i found that mine is loose too so it was a matter of time untill it fell off. i just used some heavy duty double sided tape to secure it to the bumper properly.

Apparently, it's an antennae. I just had that happen to me a couple of weeks ago when I installed new H&R springs. The independent shop also told me I'd have to remove the bumper, but my buddy - a good mechanic who fixes my cars at home, no less - just got some kind of clip from autozone, got under the car and put it back in 5 minutes, and it has not dropped since.
