You can get AMG pedals for pretty low price off ebay, they are high quality aluminum ones with rubber pads. The install takes 1-2 hours but its not that tough, just tight spaces really. To be honest, most of the Mercedes pedals are identical (98+, but many as early as 92+) so you can swap from generation to generation for the most part with a few minor exceptions

No, these are Mercedes universal, they will fit almost all mercedes, the model they say in title description is purely to attract attention to the auction.
I have the 2nd link posted and got for roughly the same price (although sometimes they have a full package with shift knob & emblems for roughly $100-120).
Yes, holes were drilled, you have to do that with any aftermarket pedal set. Only the OEM ones are slip on, but honestly they aren't as nice looking and don't say ///AMG.
Hope that helps.

Longevity has nothing to do with it. Its merely personal preference and ease of installation. Personally I like the drill on ones much more, and they look higher quality but again its up to you. Installation isn't the easiest thing in the world and its time consuming. The gas pedal, dead pedal & E-brake are easy b/c they are plastic & carpet... but the brake pedal is top grade steel and is VERY hard/strong so drilling through it is no easy task.

And that's what's fun about personalizing your car. I think the OEM ones are race inspired but nice and simplistic without blaring ///AMG to everyone. You really can't go wrong with any of the sets though. They're all nice looking. I also preferred not to drill so I went OEM.

perhaps, but the OEM ones just look too cheap for my tastes. Also, they are hardly unique, MB slaps them on everything now adays so I went a more unique rare route and was well worth the additional effort.

Again kind of funny. I'm definitely not trying to get in an argument about the pedals, but all the drill in ones with amg slapped on it always were the ones that seemed cheap to me. But like I said earlier, that's the nice thing about personalization. All that matters is what is nice to you.
