Pink Slip
Burned Acura TSX Type-S last night at stoplight. I wasn't trying to race but I was accelerating faster than normal since I wanted to get in front of him. He wouldn't slow down or speed up so I punched it and flew past him. I could see him accelerate but I was gone by that time. guy pulls up next to me at 2 lights down and asks if I want to race for pink slips. haha, i say no thanks but I'll race for the hell of it since I haven't run a TSX Type-S and i've always wanted too. He declines and we go our separate ways.
What would it take for TSX Type-S to beat a 210 E55? I think the only have 260hp stock, but are much lighter.

You're all assuming that guy didn't put a turbo on and do all sorts of other junk that you'd do to that kind of car if you're actually willing to race for pinks.

Yup. I figured we could burn stock ones. But I was thinking there was no way this guy would race for pinks bone stock. He might have had something but I heard no turbo spool, wastegate release, or anything else like that. Could had nitrous, but he didn't even have customer rims, just regular stock ones. Anyways I would never race for pinks, but it would be some fun if I can find that guy again and run for the hell of it.

Acura TL Type-S
MSRP (base): $38,225
Engine: 3.5-liter, 24-Valve DOHC, VTEC V6
Horsepower: 286 horsepower @ 6,200 rpm
Torque: 256 lb-ft @ 5,000 rpm
MPG: City: 18; Highway: 27
Performance - 16/20
The Acura TL Type-S is rooted on a featherweight chassis and front-wheel drive. The suspension utilizes firmer shocks and stiffer springs for reduced bounce and is a noticeable advantage over the stock setup. It will keep the base TL’s 3.5-liter, 24-valve, DOHC, VTEC V6 performing to perfection and is good for 286 horsepower @ 6,200 rpm. The crank, with a two-stage intake manifold, also makes good for 257 lb-ft of “pull-time” torque. Gear swapping is made possible in the Acura TL Type-S by a six-speed manual transmission or five-speed automatic, and is available with sequential paddle shifters. This all comes together with a drive-by-wire throttle system that leaps off the line with a 0-60 mph drag time of 5.5 ticks, and the 2008 Acura TL Type-S can reach a top speed of 150 mph.
