Where to get replacement D2R bulbs.

I've been looking to get replacement D2R bulbs for my 02 E55. I know Philips sells 4300k bulbs online, but does anyone know where to get good quality 6000k bulbs? Thanks.

I'm not affiliated with them in any way, but they definitely offer one of the better deals if you're looking for 6000k bulbs.

I've tried them for my motorcycle HID kit .. fukrs told me it was plug and play had to route power wire through my system . But that was couple years ago im sure they improved since . I wouldn't run aftermarkets through my oem ballasts somthing bout them doesnt make me think they will perform as good as philips bulbs

thanks everyone. It's kind of confusing with the wild variations in price between different HID bulbs. And a lot of sites seem wicked sketchy. The OEM philips bulbs on ebay seem like a good choice though.

Also, I just drove my E55 from New Hampshire to Utah... Averaged 75 mph and 25mpg the whole way. What a great car. Pretty much needed a shovel to scrape the bugs off though.

thanks heaps. I saw them today as well but wasn't sure about the color rate. it says its factory 4200k and that they become closer to 5000k with use. I'm supposed to buy the one without the (+) symbol at the end of the number, am i correct? Also if i buy these instead of the 6000k version, 4200k standard version wouldn't be hard to match up with the fog lights and other front lights, would they? Because i'm planning to make them all match color wise.

Well, guys I for one have bought many different kits and bulbs now for the past 10 or so cars now. I've ranged from 10000-4300K and 35watt to 55watt kits/bulbs. I've bought cheap ones from china, and better quaility from ddmtuning.com...So far they have all worked excellent. Even the cheap ones. They work just as well as the expensive ones. For those that still aren't convinced...go to ddmtuning. I've bought from them time and time again, and no I'm not getting paid to say that...

With that said...I remembered just wait a pain in the *** it is to get a good set up on these cars. I've done it once, and wish I could remember exactly what I did. However this time I will be buying new headlights to replace these damn yellow ones. And yes, I'm going with ebay, even if I have to do some fitting or figuring out how to make it work...

I will most likely take pics of this in a new thread also. I'm here to stay this time, and that means I'm putting money into this car to get it where it should have been in 2002

BTW...55w are a huge difference of 35w...Much much brighter for those who wondered what they are like...I have pics of 6000K 55Watt if you'd like to see them PM me

If thats the case i would go with the philips color match ones a little more expense actually almost twice more .. I ordered a set from this guy when my ballast burned out and i couldnt access untill i took front bumper off so ordered these when i ended swaping ballast and installing my old one worked . and shined the same way the ones this seller had .. my other working headlight has that blue/white 5000k look and the new ones shine more yellow but the guy states that they need 50-100 hours burn in before they become white . so if your looking at making it easier to match the city lights and fogs if your gonna swap them out then go with higher color 5000k 6000k . if your just gonna leave the fogs n city lights halogen these new lights wont match regardless . hope helps somwhat lol

Thats cool cant wait to see it .. Ive had same experience with buying cheap HIDS n more expensive ones ... I've also had experience buying aftermarket projector housings for my truck and motorcycle and personally unless i can retrofit some OEM projectors into an aftermarket housing i think i will stay stock until i can figure it out .. Dont know if the depo projectors are high quality like oem but the cutoff where never smooth like OEM's . Thats why i havnt done that mod yet cuz im worried these will be the same and wont produce the same light like my stock oem headlights .But i seen e320 black with black headlight looked pretty sick so now im gettin the itch ..lol Ill wait n see what u do
