Thanks man. The muffler was about $250, getting the rest of the exaust made cost me some beer and a few hours of my time. My buddy does exaust work so he had a bender and the knowledge to show me how to make the Y-pipe and the bends. He said he would charge around $300 for the job if he where to do it.

Everyone on here recommends an x-pipe instead of a y-pipe. What are the pros and cons of each if any?

Well, because the stock system is a true dual system, an x pipe just deletes the resonator and crosses the exhaust paths so the exhaust gases have two exits instead of one. In the OP's case, he replace the muffler with an aftermarket muffler with 1 inlet, which meant he had to joint the pipes from the two cylinder banks.

1+

Fisical components of the car.. Anyway X pipe works better.. is not the same two x 2" goes to one 3", than two 2" goes to two x 2" (4" exits) is only to make you an idea
