I have rolled a black w210 with chrome or polished wheels since 2002. I'm so sick of the black and chrome look that I decided to do something crazy with it. Its definitely love it or hate it. I have got more attention with it this way then i did with a w210 on chrome 19s slammed back in 03 when you never seen anything like that. Flame if you will, but I am sick and tired of MBs black, white, silver, and the occasional red thing. Most people come up to me and tell me how bad *** it looks, and a few don't really like it but, its my car. Even my 63yo dad says its grown on him and he thinks it look pretty good. Crappy iPhone pics do it no justice. Looks way better in person. I'm just glad I don't have to polish those things anymore!

I can say I don't think I could bring myself to do that with my car but I can also say I definitely like it. Of course I'm also a fan of Kawasaki racing green.

 

Looks good. Red would have been more cohesive (match the tails), but it looks good and obviously matches the bike.

Its put up for the winter in my dads hanger. It needs to go to the body shop soon to have the body kit and grill repainted. While its there I was thinking of painting that damn chrome wrap around the car black and black out the emblems on the back. How about the door handles? I got the old school pre-face lift ones with the chrome. Can I just paint them or most likely that it would be better to get the face lift ones, if they will fit. My hood has a few chips in it too, but I think I would rather spend the money on a CF hood.

I like it...actually I love em, Kawasaki orange woulda worked too. Now you need to address those brake calipers and finish off the look. No offense, but the nasty old bare calipers really detract from the overall appearence. Gloss black, sliver or green will all work IMO.

That is awesome. If someone said they wanted to put green lipped rims on a merc id say thats stupid, but seeing them on the car, dam thats hot! Different, in a wicked way!
