Hey guys,
Performance-curve is now selling high flow metal core 2nd cats for only $135 shipped for the pair, and T409 stainless X-pipe only $40 shipped! So basically for $175 you can get cats & X-pipe shipped to your door ...
Prices have never been this cheap on these items before. Never been a better time to upgrade your AMG.
Here are the links to their auctions ...

1. What would be good cats to go with for primary replacements along with this combo and for how much?
2. In your guesstimate, would I still likely pass CA smog? (I think I would).

Yes, these would work great as primary cats. You would need to get the 2.0" ones and then have the exhaust shop expand the exit side out to 2.25" (very easy to do).
Cali is tricky, you should pass sniffer no problem, but all the CARB certification & etc may pose an issue due to lack of documentation.

Also another question, I was looking under my car and it looked to me as if I need to remove the primary cat downpipes in order for it to be changed or deleted. Would a muffler shop be able to change it while still on the car?
