HVAC Blower motor weak

HVAC Blower motor weak
I have a 2002 and the blower motor seems weak. Intermittently, while driving the fan speed will increase momentarily.
Possible final stage or motor?
Any thoughts.
Thanks

Fan regulator attached to motor assembly is failing. I had to replace one on a W210. Unfortunately, the dealer will only sell the whole assembly. Try googling for the regulator.

Sounds like the regulator. Here's a link on swapping one in a W208. Now here's the tricky part. You've got a W210. Hopefully your 210 has the late blower assembly. If so, order the regulator and in 15 minutes you'll be fine. If you have the early blower assembly, you'll need the late regulator, the late mounting plate, and the late blower assembly. That's because the early regulator was discontinued a long time ago.
You can sell your old blower on ebay to someone who either really has a bad early blower, or someone who hasn't figured out that they need a regulator (and a blower and a mounting plate).

It's similar on the W210. Maybe a couple more screws to get the panel off and I don't remember the vent on the W210. Getting the right part is the key.
