Talking Picked up some new wheels this morning

I went by my friend's shop this morning and picked up a set of Carlsson 1/6 wheels (19 x 8.5 et40 front and 19 x 10 et45 rear). They've had them for awhile and I had been debating if I wanted them or not. His boss wanted them gone and was going to toss them in the dumpster if I didn't take them. The tires are no good and they need to be re-finished since the chrome is in pretty bad shape. I ended up giving him $80 for the set just to be nice.

I'm still not sure what I'm going to do with them. I figure if I get them re-finished and buy tires I'll be out at least $1,500. I'm also not 100% sure if they'll fit now that I'm lowered or if I'd need spacers to run them.

Here's a pic when we were test fitting one of the rears awhile ago.

you need 8-10mm spacers in the front and 10-12mm spacers in the rear. Nice pickup though

+1 on 10mm spacers. Keep in mind your stock lug bolts are 12mm x 1.5 x 40mm (1.5"). Thus, your going to need longer lug bolts as well: 12mm x 1.5 x 50mm (2.0") Also, I doubt the Carlssons accept ball seat lug bolts. Most aftermarket rims require acorn seat lug bolts. Good luck.

They're for sale.

I don't want to spend the money getting them re-done and they're just taking up space. I've got a thread in the classifieds for them. I'll take $300 for them now if anyone local is interested (I'd like to make a little off them). If you catch me when I'm in a good mood I'd probably go even less.
