4 E55s For Sale in NoCal... Any Members?
I am nosing thru the SF Craigslist and noticed 4 nice looking E55s up north. Could any 1 of these belong to a board member?
00 silver/black 124k miles with some mods $9K
01 grey/black 132k miles stock 2-owner $11.5K
02 black/black 114k miles stock $11.8K
02 black/black\red 130k miles some mods $13.5K
Perhaps someone on this forum is a member or has seen one of these vehicles in person. Curious to know as the buying pool down here is dry.

silver/black with 124k miles with some mods used to be someone on benzworld. It was for sale for $9k with a bondo'ed fender about a year ago. I looked into it actually and found out that it has an 01 engine in it after the original one blew with an HPS supercharger. The interior looked quite worn also. I've seen it in person and the drivers side fender/ headlight need some alignment done. Are you still looking for a car?

i picked up my 01 E55 from a private party for $12,000 a couple of months ago. it came with the 19" Brabus wheels (not installed) and needed some maintenance work. between taxes, tires, maintenance and springs i've dumped another $3,000 into it in those 2 months. mine had 92,000 on it and the whole car has been repainted at some point. it's been hit, but the accident didn't show up on Carfax (not saying much there). i will say i'm 100% satisfied with it and so far it's been the best car purchase i've made in the last 16 years. my friend works at an indie shop and the maintenance that cost me $700 would have been around $2,500-$3,000 at their normal price.
the '02 for $13,500 has been on there for a few weeks. the others are pretty recent postings.
the options were definitely better a few months ago when i really started looking for one. i'm still pissed i missed out on an '01/'02 white with black/white interior for $14,000. that car needed minimal work and looked badass. it drove really nice as well.

Sometimes you just have to keep looking. I bought mine $11500 and its great condition with only 84K miles ... got it 4 months ago black/black, no mod only tinted window and comes with JVC stereo. Try to find a lower mileage car under 100K (IMO)

I didn't have to go far when I bought mine 6 years ago. Very mint. Up to now the interior still has the brand new smell.

2000 E55
I am thinking of selling mine. It is a 2000 loaded with command silver with charcol/Ruby interior, 79,000 miles all original and I have an extra set of tires but the ones that are on it have about 1/2 life left. $14k located in Memphis TN.

Thanks for grounding me guys... I was beginning to become impatient.
Almost been a year since I started searching. I have learned a tremendous amount of useful information from you guys on this site. This makes me cautious with my decision. It has been a fun year of test driving many vehicles around OC. Ultimately, I would really like one to enjoy.
