It depends on the offset. I'm running a 9.5 in the front with a 35 offset and it's not sticking out of the fender

You must be running a very large spacer or have done some metal grinding.

I suspect the correct offset would be in the 25-26mm range. But, that is half of the issue. At 9" , the optimum section width would be 275. And, there is where your problem begins. In the past, I have run 8.5, ET35, 245. And, that was dang close to the infamous suspension bolt. Even at ET25, a 275 or a 265 would probably rub. Leaving you with the option of 255 or 245 which would look ridiculous on a 9" rim. Bottom line: move on.

I dont understand how he running a 9.5 inch rim on the front . What kind of tires you got on there ..

So if i understand Rubenz, your saying a 275 tire should be lowest on a 9 inch wide wheel .. My tire guy told me to run a 235/35 on a 20x9 front wheel ?

a 235 is small for a 9" wheel. i'm running 235's on my 19x8.5" front wheels and it looks kind of goofy with the sidewalls being stretched IMO.

Typically, one would mount a 275 (optimum size) to a 255 on a nine inch rim. The former being a bit short as there would probably be a small gap between the bead of the tire and the bead of the rim. A 235 will definitely produce a larger gap (~ 1/2 "). Nonetheless, that is not my point. My point is that there exists a suspension bolt that tends to rub when applying aftermarket wheels (rims & tires). OEM is extremely close given an ET of 31 and a section width of 245. With that said, a nine inch rim with a 32ET the appropriate 275 to 265 would probably rub the suspension bolt. Hence, a 235 would probably not rub. But, it would appear aesthetically lame.

What size tire you running with the 2
9.5 up front? Are you Lowered any? I'm looking at a 9.5 up front also at 40 offset which I will need a spacer but want to run 255/35/19 or 265/35/19. Thanks
