2000 E55
valve cover gaskets

Any suggestions on valve cover gaskets, I changed mine , and got aftermarkets and they didn't last long at all, should I just get oem?

It's always a good idea to go with OEM on parts like that. Autohaus has the gaskets for cheap.

The Autohaus ones by Bruss say they're OEM. I've had mine on for a few thousand miles now with no issues.

I think Victor Reinz is OEM, I'm using those without issue. Sometimes your valve cover bolts may be a tad loose over time which may cause the leak.

Yeah that was first thing I checked, I am starting to wonder if they might of been over torqued though!!!

Bruss is the OEM supplier to Mercedes for the Valve Cover Gaskets not Victor Reinz.
