Thats funny that you posted that today Charlie , yesterday I just thought let me email the seller ( or the representative ) see if it has sold , today I get an answer that it is 80% sold !!! I have no clue what that means !

I guess 80% could be:
80% of $32K = $25,600
My opinion, you never get the money back from the upgrade. If you plan to mod the car, don't expect better selling value when comes to sell. Its a very nice car with rare color but that money I can get 05 E55K original which people know how to fix instead of aftermarket upgrade.
Few years back, I had E500 with AMG pkg + E63 Quadexhaust and wanted to make it same performance as E55 with Kleemann SC kit, tune... turn out to be total cost $13K. I sold the car and bought the E55K about 3 years ago. Sold the E500 and got the E55 cost me about $17K extra. I would go with newer W211 E55 for spend $4k more than just upgrade aftermarket SC kit. W211 E55 not only the engine is different, the brake system is much better. Overall, I am happy with my 06 E55K, for the last 3 years, never spend any repairs on it, just oil and air filter changed. I bought ext warranty, not even use once.....damn..... so if anybody plan to get W211 E55, get 05 or 06 they are really reliable. knock on the wood.

Anyone else notice that there is one air intake under the hood? E55s have 2 don't they (or am I wrong)? I though my previous 2000 E55 has two hoses.
Did Kleeman change it to be one intake? Thoughts?

Also, those Kleeman wheels are nice. But they are very cheap. Kleeman does not make them anymore. I had them on my 2005 E55. They cost me $1200 new for all 4 wheels. Not forged and a bit heavy but look really nice. ANd very cheap.

And one more comment - I just picked up a mint condition 2001 E55 with 46K on the clock. Tectile gray and red/black interior for $15K. Super rare color combo and looks great.

The number of hoses doesn't matter. You can have one "intake" and out will be fine. I believe Kleemann uses the one airbox for their SC kit

Don't mind having it for a good price...
Hard to believe a doctor actually make all the modifications on the car. Why? If I have the money, I would have upgraded the car in a few years when the W211 came out with the SC. Also, I don't believe in 585 whp either.....but it would be nice if I could buy it for a good price though. Would be fun to drive around

Judging by the miles and the cost of modification it wouldn't surprise me if a Doctor owned it. The Kleemann mods alone cost over $25k and it has less than 30k miles on it indicating that it was someones toy.
Sure anyone with cash could of owned/modified the vehicle but then I start to think why lie about a doctor? If your going to lie why not throw out the word "celebrity" or "professional athlete"...

cut up benz
Jay-Z would have cut it up and weld the hood on the back of the benz like he did with the maybach on his video

Old Thread
Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I was wondering if anyone knows where this car ended up and could potentially be for sale?
Btw- in its final rendition, the crank horsepower was around 700...give or take a few.
Thanks!
