ANYONE RUN 265/35 WINTERS
I liked the way my hankook icebears ran in the winter but they were 275/35 18 .. cant seem to find the rears as almost all places i try are out of stock .. But i can get 265/35 18 all day .. i know the diamter my be smaller , have been told it might even handle better as its more narrow but not sure before i try them out , just wanna see if anyone else ran 265's in the back thru the winter .. Thanks

Have any of you used Federal SS595 ? I heard that they are wider than other brand so if you buy 265 actually size of 275 of Toyo, hanko....

I know you didn't ask, but I use Dunlop Winter Sport M3 245/40VR18 all around (yes, I'm aware that the rear wheels are wider, but I use the 245's on all the wheels). This makes for a great-handling and very safe winter car. I live in Connecticut and have driven through some significant winter storms. I highly recommend the Dunlops.

just slapped on the brand new 265/35 hankook icebears for the winter .. fckin car feels so much smoother then sport tires .. But even with my winters im still gettin this wobble that I had gotten with my summer tires after removing the 20 inch wheels . Now I cant make out if my fronts <used couple winters now but show barely any wear> are shot and need new ones also or just need to get a front wheel alignment cuz my 20's might have thrown it off wack .. when i threw my 20's back on it drove fine and smooth .. ![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)

not sure of pros and cons but the W210 E55 should have staggerred setup not same all the way around , but if it drives good with no problems then I dont see why not .. I personaly would never run 245 on the rear too much power to them rear wheels to have 245's on the back end

I put the 275's on the rear and it feels much tighter. Got the nexen n7000's. Kept the ones I took off the rear as spares for the front (nexen n3000 245's) which match what is on the front.
