$1498.00?!?!?

What are the terms. That seems a bit pricey, but I do reserve the right to claim ignorance.

That car has a 2 year or so lease! That is what I expect for a total cost of $80k. Hell, a $80k car loan at 8% is $1622 per month for 5 years. Many people pay $5-600 for per month for Honda Civic loans.

The car originally had a 3 year lease, with 1.5 left. It is a hefty payment( all taxes and everything were included in the payment)
but a chance for someone to drive the E55 for a short time. The car is not being driven as of Dec, partly the reason I must move the car.

Wow, 23k, whoever wants to take it over will have to keep it in the garage most of the time------what is left on the lease, 13k for the next 1.5 years? The Dude with this car will be severly restricted

Actually he said it is a 2 year lease, and 2 year BENZ leases in my area all come with 10K miles per year. That means I'll be screwed. No thanks.

edit. Nevermind someone else said that. Still ill only have 7000 miles for 1.5 years.

If milage is not an issue then why keep it in the garage since december and not drive it? YOu've been paying almost $1500/month (plus insurance?) since december just to keep it in the garage?
Thats one smart Dude!

Did you disconect the battery? The gas in the tank probably smells like sh%$#t by now. I could be wrong of cause I could be wrong

Fast Eddy, you live in Europe, why make remarks about a car you can never buy? It is RichardG's choice to drive or not drive his car for whatever reason. Not driving it may be the reason he needs or wants to sell it or perhaps he has other vehicles or priorities. Whatever the reason it is his choice. An E55 is not a car purchased because you need transporation nor is it a commuter car like the MCC Smart. The car is for sale and a new buyer can also buy it or finance it. Taking over the lease is just one option.

Fast Eddie

To Fast Eddie:
You sound like a 14 year old. I wasn't going to bring this up, but the reason I don't /can't drive the car are medical(cancer) related. Is that good enough for you? Keep your stupid remarks for your 2nd grade class on Monday

C32 AMG, Volvo S80T6
its actually very attractive deal

This is to have a very nice powerful car for 18 months! Thats a phenom.. If it were a 3 yr lease I would say it is high for todays market conditions and interest rates but for such a short term its great. Anyone who wants an E for a short period should pick it up although I see it isnt as easy as that. Good luck.. I will post on other boards.

E55KEV, wannabe, you want one? be a man go to HBL and get one ----they have used one on the lot and a new one in stock. AS to your 430 --take it to Carmax nobody will give you more nowadays especially with new model coming. So if you have the ***** ---do it E430KEV otherwise be a E55KEV wannabe.

Fast Eddy, thanks for your advise - I will change my MB World handle to "E55 KEV WANNABE" just for you!

You have already been accussed of sounding like a 14 year old for making rude comments about someone else's business and posting about a car you can never buy and now you are telling me to be a "MAN" because I have not purchased an E55. Once again you are making ignorant comments about real adults business.

You are on the wrong board! This is a Mercedes-Benz automobile board and you don't even own one. You are driving a car or perhaps a golf cart made by a watch company! You have a big mouth for someone driving such a little car, err- golf cart. Who cares if Daimler-Chrysler owns Smart, it is not a Mercedes! You tell me to be a man and you drive a car marketed to women! What a Punk!

In your profile you describe yourself as a "Young Playboy" "HA"! A Playboy driving a Swatch Smart.

Do you also get discounts on Swatch watches? I bet you actually drive the remote-controlled model pictured here?

FastEddy - BE A MAN, BUY A CAR
