Where to start? The Italians or the Germans?
Talking Gruppe M intake madness

Holy cow. I didn't think it was possible to out-price RENNtech, but Gruppe M now holds the record for the most expensive N/A M113 intake (as far as I know anyway). Looks pretty cool, but I wonder just how great it really is. The price is slightly mind-boggling. It's not really computing with me.

RENNTech

I'll stick to my Renntech airbox.....its cheaper. I like the style but I'll have a hard time shelling out 5k.

LOL!!

Price of the box is almost if not more than a price for a whole used W210 55's.

Off topic message for Zayed

Zayed,
I killed the post asking for the EGS52 TCU information after you sent me the necessary information. (I didn't want a bunch of people wasting their time hunting around for a part number that I already had.) As a consequence, the entire thread was erased. I just wanted you to know I found an 0305452032 EGS52 type TCU. What's cool about this particular unit is that it came out of a 2001 W220 E500 that originally had an 0275451132 EGS51 type TCU. I even have the Mercedes Benz service information for the TCU change out. I contacted Jerry at Eurocharged regarding this and he said he only needed the TCU to do the performance flash! (Even if he's wrong, it's no problem because if it doesn't work when I get it back, I'll resend it with my ECU.) Again, thanks for all your help! You're a real asset to this forum! Keep it coming!

RustbucketRacer, I still encourage you to check the TCU in your brother's vehicle. You might get lucky and find an A0305452032 type EGS52. Regardless of the TCU situation, in order for you to exceed 155 MPH, you will still have to get your ECU delimited. I just got my ECU back from Eurocharged Performance and discovered that their claim of a minimum of 25 HP and 30+ ft.lbs. of torque at the rear wheels is rather conservative and makes for a VERY noticeable improvement! I also picked up about 2 MPG which I find an amazing addition to this! It was worth every penny of its cost, IMHO. However, I haven't had the track, time or the stones to see if my E55 will exceed 155 MPH as Eurocharged claims the ECU delimiting will allow. I plan to show up at the 2013 Mojave Mile with the following modifications:

K & N Filters
ECU tuned by Eurocharged
TCU tuned by Eurocharged
Cooling Mist H2O/Alcohol Injection
Slotted and Dimpled Disc Brakes
Pedalbox Shift Modifier

I'm hoping the combination of those mods will allow me to hit 160 MPH or better. We'll see!
