How many E55 AMG owners in colorado

Hi, this is my first post here on this forum, and i would like to know how many w210 amg owners live close to Denver, Colorado. Also i think my car is realy slow, is doing 0 to 60 in 6.8 seconds. Any ideas of what could cause this slow 0 to 60? I used to own a 1998 E320 and it was only a second slower than my amg, and of course my amg have a lot more power.
Any answer would be appreciated.
Thanks

I should be a e55 owner Thursday.

Remember at our altitude a n/a motor loses some hp.

At 6000ft you are down almost 18%

Here is a calculator
http://www.wallaceracing.com/braking-hp.php

So don't try and run a c32........

I'm in Colorado Springs .

Where to start? The Italians or the Germans?
I'm up in Fort Collins. There are four other E55's up here that I know of--not on the forums though I don't believe.

Have you dyno'd it yet? What's the background on your car?

Cheers,
Ricky

I havent dyno'd it yet. Im the third owner of the car, and i dont believe the previous owner took care of the car, i bought the car a few months back.
I just replace the Air filters with K&N, they were in very bad condition, they had holes. I replaced both engine mounts and a transmission mount, front brake pads and rotors, brake light switch, but i still need to put some new spark plugs, which brand do you recomend? Also the valve cover gaskets are leaking, other than that, the car is great, i love the power, but i test drove a few e55 a few years ago and they felt alot more stronger then mine, have you dyno'd your AMG?

Yes, I dyno'd mine just after I got it:

I'm running the BOSCH Platin FR8DPP33+ plugs. They're non-resistance plugs if my memory serves me right--don't hold me to that though

The valve cover gaskets are quite the little PITA because there are uppers and lowers. You'll want to do all of them at once. The lowers are available but the uppers will need gasket sealer. Just slather it on, snug up all the nuts, let it sit for a couple hours, and off you go. Here's a link to how I did mine(valve cover job pics start at post #21): https://mbworld.org/forums/w210-amg/...ot-02-way.html

Great! What type of dyno? Dynojet?

Spark plug gap is .039 by the way. I'm using one of these to measure mine: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-SNAP-ON-...09b146&vxp=mtr

My car was, and still is, stock when I decided to dyno it. It had about 155kkm on the clock at the time. I lucked out. The car is very healthy. Only about 18% drivetrain loss given the stock numbers.

Ah yes, I do have those. The wheels are not in the best of shape. They need refinishing. I would recommend against chrome plating. It just doesn't hold up well. Let me spend some time thinking of a price for you. I can get a quote on refinishing as well.
