Nice rare car but a few things bug me. The interior triple color scheme is really too over the top- but it looks like it's got a leather stitched dash which is a nice plus. Not a fan of those rims on the car. Kind of annoying that the Recaro seats have power seat buttons on it and there's also the factory switches on the doors- I wonder if the latter is non functional.

I have one with 50150 original miles and it has red and black leather interior trying to find some place close that will fix the dash and driver seat leather and paint reasonably

1997 Renntech e60 limited ( base e420 sport
I inherited it from my deceased step father who purchased it from a car lot . The original owner was Jack Shewmaker former COO of Wal-Mart. This car is for sale but I dont want to be low balled I know what a 1996 Renntech is selling for and this is a 1 of 30 car.

Is it me or does it look like it was involved in a front end crash and the drivers side airbag deployed? Huge gap between the fender and front bumper? Can't tell if the trim panel below the steering wheel is loose or broken? Steering wheel leather peeling? Does not look like a steal at $10k to me. Not sure there is any additional value on this car or not. Did you have it dynoed to see if the engine is still the Renntech unit?

I have my doubts that that is a real E60. It's missing the flared fenders for starters, unless that was only on later models. Post some more pics of it all around and the engine.

Actually - I have briefly seen this car - I had the same questions - but my tech's verified genuine w/RennTech - condition - I would call it "bit-better-than-a-Barn-Find" - salt free Arkansas car....

Owned by Jack Schewmaker(phonetic spelling) who was a big wig at Walmart Corporate office...he passed and my father bought it .I inherited it upon his death in 2017. I also have the build and price sheet with verification FROM RENNTECH that it is their build...and it is titled as a 1997 E420 .....
