I paid $12,000 for mine over 2 years ago with 91,000 on it and it came with an extra set of 19" Brabus wheels (real ones too).
However, it didn't come with any records and I had to put a lot of money into it. My roommate works at an indy so he did it all on the side. He said at normal shop rate/prices it would have been around $6,000 worth of work.

Being problem free I think your price is fine. Remember, board prices are usually lower than what you'll get on CL. There are generally several W210 E55s for sale at any time in my area, which makes them a bit easier to find than other markets.
Mine is basically problem free now and I'm going to be asking $9,000-$10,000 for it when it goes up for sale. I just need to get the oil changed, smog it and I think that's it. Mine just turned 115,000 and it does have paint issues and some interior wear.
