Yeah, I have the same thought after putting the H&R springs in. The front looks way too high. I have a set of #2 pads waiting to be put in. I guess the original pads are either #4 or #5. I'll have to do that next weekend and see how it looks. When all else fail, I'll cut the springs

This is it after cutting the springs and with the #1 pads.
When I went back to stock springs for a short while because we were trying to figure out a vibration. It was ready to go off-road.

Strigoi,
After seeing the pics you have, I think I am going back to the dealer to exchange my #2 to the #1 pads. Your first picture is fine with me as I drive my car three days a week to work hence don't want to go too low as it might cause problems. My rear is like the rear on the first picture which is ok with me. The days are getting colder hence great project weather

EZ Lip
Well folks, the EZ lip lasted me one winter. Not bad, if you want my opinion. I just pull the car out of hibernation and run into a small frozen snow curb. I guess, it's time for me to get another rubber strip from eBay
It's cheaper then damaging a carbon fiber lip...IMO
Here are a couple of pics of the rubber lip...

Well, I finally got the old rubber lip off the car. The weather is beautiful this afternoon hence I got the fixing bug... To my surprise, the old sticky glue came right out with the rubber piece. I run the bottom of the car with some rubbing alcohol to get the dirt and dust out. Put the rubber lip the second time around, I decided to attach it a 1/4 of an inch away from the edge so as dirt and water will not stay at the edge. I also do a better job the second time around Here is the finish product. To me, even though the lip lasted me a season, its well worth it, as it sort of protects the bottom front of the car. Actually, this time, its a little cheaper as my winning bid was $27.50.

Hey guys,
I'm new to the w210 e55 amg family. Bought a complete stock 2001 e55 amg with 60k miles on it. I love the stock look but would like to get a more aggressive looking stance. Anything you could recommend? I have seen a couple threads as well as above in this one about putting #1 pads on it. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
