No problem with bolt sizing & ball/cone seat, can choose any length you need by using ball or cone head washer,,
tried them many times with differ Rims spec., zero issue..!!

They're the correct size with a ball seat not cone, because they're OEM wheels it's has a ball seat. When the tyre shop put cone seat bolts in before it was a mess.

Work is finally underway on the fitting of the big brake kit and I couldn't be happier about that. Headliner is getting done by the same shop, in the alcantara already I got, and so is a retrofit OBDII port under the dash, which I need for real time monitoring/diagnostics (within the ranges and read-outs the port is capable of obviously).

So the brakes are all fitted, but when putting the wheels into position we found there isn't enough clearance up front (the rears are fine) due to the brake hub offsets. Obviously, that means we need spacers up front to give us the extra clearance, but if spacers are needed up front, I will also fit the same spacer size to the rear to retain the pre-kit fitment wheel stagger/stance.
We need to confirm the measurements and order the right spacers, and I'd say that this is actually a very minor and manageable setback considering the scale of what's been done.
Luckily Mr. Cm60k aka Zayed the Mercedes Master is on hand to get this situation in order.
More updates to follow.

So much to do!
Great project!
I spent the last hour or so last night reading this thread and ohhh man have you put some quality time, effort, and labor into this build, very nice.
I'm curious to know anyone has any insight on remapping / tuning the ECU. I haven't checked yet as far as the version of the TCU/ECU but the mfr date is late 99' on my 2000 e55.
I heard heard that early e55 models can't be modded but I do have an obd2 port. I'm assuming if you were able to tune yours, I should be able to get a tune for mine.
Thanks and again, great build.
Ps sweet revamp on the Monoblocks... I love those!

Just to be clear, you said you have a 2000 E55, which "left the factory" in '99, is that right? I'm only asking because you said your car has an OBD2 port, which based on the model year is quite rare if I'm not mistaken. My car has the 38 pin data connection, but I have modified wiring to retrofit an OBD2 port to it.
That being said, if you have an OBD2 port it should theoretically make things much easier for you in regard to remapping the ECU. Have you already checked if ECU data can be read/wrote fully with your OBD2? Is the port used by your servicing garage for Star?

I wanted to share this video from my channel, so people can see that the kind of comradery Zayed shows to members of this forum, is also shown in person.
Thank you again for getting me set up with one hell of a brake system upgrade for my 210, Sir!
