What's a low mileage 02 E55 worth?
Looking to pick up a low mileage example, pricing here seems high but not a lot of 30k milers out there. Seller asking $19k

I'll sell you mine as it sits for $8,000 and include the stock wheels with good tires. It's got 119,000 on it. It has a misfire at idle and has cosmetic issues. I'd put money on it being just as reliable as your 30,000 mile example.
There is no way I'd ever pay $19,000 for one of these cars, regardless of the mileage.
There's a very recent pic of mine in my sig. I'm only selling it so I can buy a truck to tow the LeMons Fireturd. My Durango does not enjoy towing 5,500lbs + of car and trailer. I need to keep the Durango to tow a smaller enclosed trailer of gear for the LeMons car, or it would be getting sold instead.

i paid 19 k for a 2002 e55 with 50,000 miles. it had nav, and a v60 phone which i converted using a Bluetooth puck, which i bought from keith Valentine. My car had parktronic and ventilated seats. I paid more because of all the options.
Mercedes told me I had 14,000 in Repairs but Max Scroogs in NC fixed up the car for 5000. ( wanted it to be perfect and Max is the best so even though I live in NYC I sent the car to Max)
I agree that 19K is high but it depends on condition.
I would drive it and pay a good mechanic to inspect it.
I have another e55 with 180,000 miles and I have spent money to keep it running but it drives like new.
the 01 and 02 e55 is a great car and if you buy one you will love it.

I paid 15,000 for mine with 65,000 miles on it, car is in excellent condition, only flaws are the small paint chips on the front which are normal wear and tear. Good luck.

I paid $12K 3 years ago with 84K. The car has 106K now but is in excellent condition. Also black. I just spent $1500 for the car...... valve gasket, tension pulley, belts, 16 spark plugs, fix door dings, repair and paint the front bumper due got a crack by sideway drive. Tranny service, tires, rotors about 10K miles ago. The rotors are very expensive so make sure the rotors still in good condition. I think I would get lucky to sell for $10K after all I spent.
That price for $19K is just way over priced. W210 E55 very solid and classic car, love it very much but even low mileage doesn't worth more than $15K.
Good luck !

Just talked to seller, not as clean as I would have liked. Has had hood repainted (due to minor incident), some other minor dings etc. at that ask, better be close to perfect (irrespective of mileage). Thanks for the input guys

ya, not interested in a E55K. Found this one in the dark gray I prefer, let's see how this one shapes up...

2001 Mercedes Benz E55 AMG
There should be a premium for low mileage cars with complete service history, no paintwork and no accidents. I would pay up for the right car. The E55's are becoming harder to find with low miles, no paintwork, no accidents and complete service records. I think the prices will actually start to increase for the these cars in the future.
