200-cell high flow metal cats on ebay now for only $99

Hey guys,

Just ran across some good high flow metal core 200cell cats for only $99 each. I know how popular this mod is on the 210s as I used to have one back in the day. Just though I would share

MBS high flow cats:

These will fit better for the primaries as they are 8".....

if my primaries ever go bad. It will fit perfectly where the primaries are located without having to mess with the 02 sensors.

The high flows I showed are short and I think they are the same size as the oem ones. If you weld the new ones in place of the original, I don't think you have problem with the steering column. Don't move the O2 bung hole and sensor. Also, I will not advise doing long tube headers as the steering column might be in the way...unless you do some bending on the tubes to cater for the steering column hindering too close to the downpipe. IMO, go with the shorties

I meant as secondaries, bu ya you can always cut them down to size, length is no as crucial as quality

I bought the MBS 300 cell cats to replace the primaries. They looked a little long, but there is plenty of material on both ends that could be cut down. Wish I had seen those Magnaflows cats learner though!

Would you mind letting me know if you have any issues with the CEL switching on, I need a rock solid recommendation for converters that don't trip the cat efficiency codes. Thanks!

That's is my plan with this thread. I would like to have a reference for all w210 owners, but more specifically mods that pass smog inspection in CA.
