How do you know your speed sensor is out? What are your symptoms?

when you put the new star on where the old one was fitted, if you carefully look do you see the old drilled holes when the new star is on?

you've got öl for 5 years ahead.
good planning
I always buy my öl in 1L/5L jugs from das Müdaland as it's helluva lot cheaper than buying öl in my country!!
I use to buy 24L which will last for 3 years.
9x1L jugs
3x5L jugs
my caps comes in gold color, yours are green.
did you buy eco öl?

how much is one jug where you bought it?

are they 4L or 5L jugs?

the Mobil1 öl you bought, is it produced in North America or is it a eüropean production?

Mobil1 öl produced for eüropean market some people say it's better than equivalent öl for NA market?
I wonder if this is true?

It's the "made in Germany" 0w40 Euro Formula, supposed to be made from 100% synthetic base stock, the "good stuff" as they say. 4.4L jugs, 40% off, came to $36.19/jug I believe, Canadian Tire. Price was online, not in store, but the store matched the online posted price for me.

Kowalski, I have heard thing about the North American Mobil 1 being a group 3 base vs. Euro group 4. I guess that makes it not "fully synthetic". I'm not a scientist so I cannot say definitively.

IanB, does it say "Made in Germany" right on the bottle? I'll have to check mine when I get back after the holidays. We're lucky enough to get the 5qt 0W-40 European Formula for $20 by me...but if it's not fully synthetic then I guess we are getting what we pay for.

does it say fully synthetic on Mobile jug and it's not full blend?
if yes then you're getting dubed

is penzoil, valvoline or quaker state any good?
do they have full synthetic öl in their product catalogue?
do they have viscosity 0w40

Got tired of the incessant buzzing coming from the map light/sunroof control, so I removed the fan and internal temperature sensor assembly, pulled the C-clip and fan shaft out, and injected the fan motor with high-viscosity lubricant. $100 bucks saved and now I can't even hear it with the car turned off until I press my ear against the air inlet.

Did some things recently

Refinished the monos (they only looked good from far away and at night)
before (this is one of the better ones)
[/url]
after
Painted the rear calipers

LEDs in the trunk (I had to carry a lawn mower so its really dirty in there)

Also added 7mm spacers to the front because there was some slight rubbing on the inside, now its rubbing out the outside....I'm tempted to put the monos back on but I think I will wait until after all the snow/salt is gone.

Are you using camber bolts up front and adjustable links out back? How are your tires wearing?

I have not done anything to the alignment, I dont drive the car much so I have not see any weird tire wear.

Does anyone have the part number for the camber bolts?

For the rear the plan is to do this

Changed the throttle position sensor today. No longer goes into limp mode after full throttle pass.

I painted the leds in my city lights with this so they are only yellow when they are on.

I think these look pretty good! Looks better than the black example imo. My city lights are out and have been but may borrow this once I upgrade to projector.

Meanwhile, fighting off P0170 I replaced my Pro Dry S filter with some OEM Mann (more on this soon as to why) and installed Mann fuel filter without lifting the car.

So far so good! Hopefully this will knock it out finally.
