what kind of emission testing do you have? It is a test to check the monitors or do they use a sniffer?
Sniffer @ 3000 rpm I think, there's no way to get trough MOT without KATs.

Sweden, I sent them the diff cause I could not find anyone here to do it. There are many that do BMW or older Mopar stuff but not Benz. Ye 900$ shipping, labour and return shipping. The output shafts needs to have a groove added. I contacted a machine shop but they said the material was too hard for them (they did try). Got the suggestion to attach it to a lathe myself and use an angle grinder, well perhaps that could work... So eventually I just said screw it and paid up Had there been no need to modify the diff I would have done it myself. I don't have a lathe so my options were limited.

Refinished my front wheel lips and polished them, got the Continental DWS06 for the front as well. New rubber all around, suspension is nice and tight. I need to get it in for an alignment. I've been working on the silver e55 I have for sale and a C43 amg as well.

I had my wheel shop do it. I wet sanded the rear lips and polished them myself, but the fronts needed a bit of slight curb rash fix from the previous owners.
In other news, I picked up the last set headers from Kleemann USA Today.

sure that’s a picture of a 210 trunk, but I am sure they are different. Do you want to buy one I can send the link in a private message. Don’t really want to give out the page. As there aren’t many left to buy.
Sound German Performance 150 valve body installed. Also has this 171 amg trans mount laying around. Much stiffer than the normal 210 mount. Drilled the extra two holes into the trans crossmember, and fits perfectly.
Doing valve cover gaskets and of course the pain-in-the-*** breather covers... Anyway, here is what a 202,000 mile E55 looks like inside when it's taken care of. No sludge, no buildup, looks like it's ready for another 200k....
Next weekend (not this weekend) I'll be doing all new suspension components. Front upper & lower control arms (everything else up front is new), then the complete 4-link rear suspension, rear control arm bushings, and even all 4 rear sub-frame bushings. At that same time I'm putting on a new rear flex disc, new motor mounts and new trans mount. My whole suspension and driveline (with the exception of the factory AMG Bilsteins which are in prefect working order still) will be new. It's going to be nice to feel what this thing rides & handles like when it came from the factory...

How did all the projects turn out? I'm curious to the differences old vs new.
Just ordered a Mishmoto dual fan setup for a fox body, also hardrace rear toe and camber arms.
Also getting rid of my 285s to swap for 295s Pirelli Pzeros.
Still waiting on some stainless tubing to make a spacer for my CL55 rear calipers.
My car was totaled last week, from some hail damage that happened 3 weeks ago. Getting it fixed PDR, when that is in the shop next week. I am getting dark grey suede head liner, a pillar, sun visors, and c pillar. Also going to send my to front seat belts out for repair and dark red belt material.
Also in July I will be getting custom long tune headers made by ICEngineering.
