reviving this from the dead.

My s6 kept me busy, so now I have time to focus back on the Benz. Ordered a few new parts, deleting the SAP.

Ordered a new gas cap, washer fluid reservoir cap, which I actually need a new reservoir because mine is old and yellow… ordered a transmission filter and gasket kit, did an oil change, bought ECE block off plates. I need to code out the SAP.

Brake fluid flush is next, then I’ll see about fixing my sagging headliner. I’m going to replace it with charcoal alcantara.

What a great thread! Thanks to y'all I learned a lot about my new to me BS 1999 E55 in OEM contidion. She has 160K miles and is rust free. Love what illest did with the rears in the front. i dont want to lower her too much. Vogtland springs seems like the best option.

Car is lowered but I need to adjust rear camber. I was considering camber king arms. Any other suggestions?

My E55 ate engine mounts 4x faster than any other car I've ever owned. If I had it all to do over again, I would have installed solid engine mounts.

Make your own. Super easy and cheaper.

Tranny swap, serpentine belt, all pulleys plus the adjustment one, all coolant hoses, all oil cooler gakets and pressure port.

Next up is fuel pump and filter. Filter was last changed at 60k and pump never changed. Oh and plugs, been at least 100k since last changed. And shocks and window regulator that I've had for a while.
