Carbon Grille
Very nice I couldn't remember anymore Lol but if you want to sell it down the road let me know...I had the hood wrap and it is holding on pretty good inspite of the snow and ice covering it thru winter.

I started cleaning these up so I can repaint them and put them on the car.
Not sure what color to use. Also need to get some AMG decals to replace the Mercedes ones.

I have the same AMG calipers at home, I wonder if these calipers with C32/C55 rotors clears my 18" Brabus Monoblock V with ET35 without using any spacers upfront?

My brakes are near death and Im pondering color for my Brilliant Silver colored car as well as sourcing parts.
Gunmetal, Zinc Red or Copper are my thoughts. Do these calipers have to be heavily clear coated? I would prefer matte zinc effect.

@kowalski from what I have read you will need spacers to run them with the stock monoblocks. I had them on my e320 with stock 17s and no spacer was needed.
@Tall Giraffe - I only put clearcoat on the front to cover the decal and protect it, I dont think its required. I am considering leaving mine silver. Everyone and thier mother does red but Cooper sounds promising. Something like this:

E55 AMG 18" AMG Monoblock ET31 you need spacers for C32/C55 calipers.
I hope my front 18" Brabus ET35 clears these calipers?
my fronts are 8.5 and rears are 9.5

header wrap
Really, good to know. I'll hold off on it then. It does looks nice but you are right, the headers might get too hot in the summer months and I really don't want to have a problem with them. Mine are almost 3 years old and I love my set up the way it is and I don't want to mess it up.

Well as the old saying goes, "if it ain't broke..."
Consider this though, instead of wrapping the headers, wrap everything else? That's the route I think I'll be going. The idea being to protect the necessary ares of plumbing etc. from heat rather than trap heat it the headers and potentially damaging them.

What size tire are u running?
#121
as the new Michelin PSS r softer than the old Pirelli P0, its feels a bit like wearing softer lamb leather over thicker bull skin, i do feel less body roll but more imperfection of the roads
cheers,
ed~

Idk, maybe it's the tires. Also, I'm lowered 40mm, but that has no relation to the tire and the spindle nut, which is what I assumne you're rubbing on.

That's crazy! Granted I only have a mm or two clearance, but I can't make it rub at all, corners, dips, etc. I'm running Michelin PSS.

And my rub is deep too. I have read that the shoulder of the S04 is larger but it seems extreme compared to what you are saying and what I have seen especially with your car lowered. That is what I am looking to do is lower it but seems like i need a 10mm spacer just to try.
The spacer should cure your issue. Hell, even a 5mm one should do it.
When I get around to it, I'll take pics to show mine.
Another option would be to run 235s on the front and 265s on the rear.

Fixed a potential flat
Getting into my car going home and saw a screw stuck on the right back side of my tire. I drove to the indie tire place I know and the guy told me a few more inches up the sidewall, I would be in **** creek twenty minutes and $15.95 later I drove home
