Finally joined the w210 E55 club
Hey guys, been reading he forums for years and I have always loved the w210 AMGs.
I'm proud to say that I finally bought an E55 last month.
Its a 2002 silver on black/white with navigation, the car has 8,500 miles so it is pretty much like new.
I just had a complete service done changing all fluids, belts, and mounted Michelin Super Sport tires. The car still was on the factory filled oil!
I know the community isn't as active as it once was but I'm excited to be a part of it.
I'll keep you guys updated as time allows.

wow that mileage is incredible.
I just got one with 58k and I thought I stole it.
Yours must have been a collector's car. The original oil fill for 12 years worries me a little.
I love the two tone leather.
Good find !!! Take care of it.

Welcome! Nice find, I'd change the oil after maybe you hit 10,000 miles. Pretty simple to DIY. Just suck it out with a vacuum and refill per the manual. Did you have the transmission oil done too? Only use MB fluids!

Update
Hey guys sorry for the late update, have been busy with many things. The guy I bought it from was the second owner, the first was his brother. He was asking $18,900 for it. I had it inspected by the indy shop that I have been using for over 15 years. Bottom line was nothing had ever been done to the car, no service or repair ever. It was all factory filled fluids, original tires, etc... Their father had basically been driving around town for 12 years. I haggled the price down to $17,000 because of all the work that it needed.
After purchase I drove it straight to the shop (Hans German Car Repair in Valley Village, they are the best!) and had the car completely serviced, all fluids changed and inspected, new alternator bearing, and Pilot Super Sports installed all around. I also had them remove the aftermarket tint so I could see the factory blue tint.
Since then I have been having a blast driving the car. It is truly like a time capsule, and honestly I feel guilty adding miles to it so idk what to do about that lol...
I've been looking for a DD C43 to offset the mileage (had one before but was massively rear ended on the 405) but no luck finding a decent one.

Wow, thanks for the update! Still amazed at the mileage; and for 17k, I'd say that's a steal. Always loved the blue windows on these. Any issues from having the original fluids?

When the seller first told me that it had never been serviced I was initially worried. His brother is in the military so he left the car with their elderly father who drove it less than 60 miles a month around the neighborhood and never on the freeway. The car just sat in the garage most of the time. The pics in my original post were when I first looked at the car before buying it, at that point the car hadn't left that garage for 4 months.
After my mechanic gave me the ok I had no worries.
Honestly the car wasn't kept or regarded as a "collector car" it just happened to fall into a situation where it was never used.
Btw does anyone know the model phone that was installed in the armrest, mine is missing and I want to replace it for the sake of originality.

Wow, great story and an awesome find!
Welcome to the forum. BTW, I've heard those original armrest phone are hard to find. It would be a nice addition to your car, but of course the service is no longer available.
Although, if you really want it, this could be it: http://www.ebay.com/itm/MERCEDES-BENZ-E320-E430-E420-E55-CLK430-E300-PHONE-W210-/350322927752?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5190dfa888
