2000 e55 / two questions

I'm the second owner on this car and I love it.
So two questions please:
The dash is starting to crack around the perimeter of the passenger side air bag. I live in northern Illinois and the car is garaged so this is a bit concerning as the car never gets super hot in the interior . Are there factory replacements still available? Ball park idea on cost? I'm keeping the car so I will take the pain and get it replaced if possible.

The brake pedal is a bit spongy and the local MB tech says this is normal. Is it?

Thank you. You all have been helpful in the past and I appreciate here again.

A 2000 model would be a W210 model. You'll find more information and people who know the car better over there.

210 680 06 87 is the part number, but I don't think it's available. You can get it covered by a reputable upholstery shop. It will probably look better than the factory design.

The toe in is typical with the brake pedal. You'll learn that most other cars brakes are actually harsh because of the lack of toe in. The dash crack is also a typical location. I recommend living with it. It's crazy expensive for a new top dash and the car has to be ripped apart to change it.
