Location for Turn Rate Speed Sensor?
ESP/BAS/ABS sensors are inside the center console but before I tear it apart I want to make sure this one is there as well. I am replacing it to resolve the
ESP/BAS/ABS warning that lights up every time I start driving. The car has no other symptoms aside from the annoying warning beeps. The sensor appears
very easy to pop in if I can just find the location.

are you sure you have this sensor..??,,
you may have an issue with other sensors like, "Acc. sensor" or "Turn Rate sensor"..?!?!

I have the larger module with the yellow dot on it you are showing in your pictures under the back seat. Perhaps the part I bought is not found on my car and
this larger one replaces it?

Here are the part numbers for an E430. Change from old to new occured 30 June 2000; there was some overlap of the two parts being installed in vehicles. The part with the large yellow dot is the old version. The part in your original photo is the new version. Order by your chassis number.
Old version used in chassis numbers to: B 173999 and X 044900 to 30/06/2000 except model year 801
New version used in chassis numbers from: B 040000 and X 037890 from 30/06/2000 except model year 800

part was only $8 so no great loss. I am debating if I want to invest in a STAR system due to the cost at this time. I am also battling an ongoing AC AUX fan issue but that's
another story. I will detail that in a separate thread once it's resolved.
