NA is not is way to go for bang for the buck. Engimeer a turbo kit and make some real power. It is just so much harder to make power with a NA engine when you are starting from scratch and doing your own R&D.
Sure Ls motors are cool. But I like having my 113. I will be up around 400whp once I get it running on e85, and possibly cams soon. There is only 2 cams in a m113.

and it痴 just not cool anymore with a LS engine. Before 2020 is over I will have a m113k ready to be swapped in!

Wheels are on, installed a H&R front sway bar last night. Made such a difference!

7mm spacer up front and a 15mm spacer in the rear.

Finished the brakes two weeks ago.

these are w211 e63 front calipers with Racing Brake, brake pads.

rotors are w218 CLS 550, has to remove the dust shield.

Braking is amazing! Waiting on my CL/S class rear calipers. Should be here in a few weeks. Will be using the clk63/55 P30 rear rotors

Forgot it was a 3 valve motor for a moment. Still, 2 cams with almost or no one making billet cams.

The brakes are very nice. Stock w210 E55 calipers are ugly as sin. It's like MB didn't even try.

there is a company called cat cams, they actually make 8 different cam profiles for a 113

"Wheels are on, installed a H&R front sway bar last night. Made such a difference!"

I'm very curious to see how the H&R Sway bar works out. Everything I have read on the forums by individuals who have installed it have had problems after 800 to 1000 miles. Please keep us posted...!

Dang, this is awesome. Glad I found your thread. People do still care about these cars. I'll be bugging you for some more info on the intake in the future if you don't mind!

BTW, you helped me out on the gram a few years back with some pointers on getting Kleemann headers into my E55, still appreciate it!

hows your car running? The intake is super easy. Will definitely need a retune depending on how your car is running now, did you ever dyno your car?

Car runs fantastic! I'm loving it, the tune and headers really woke the thing up.
Haven't dyno'd it unfortunately, closest dyno is about a 300mi round trip for me, haven't had the time to justify a trip out there with 2 little kids and plenty of other 4-wheeled time sucks.

How are you liking the ECE motor mounts? All 3 driveline mounts are on the near future to do as preventative maintenance. My wife and I switch off DD'ing the car, so I've been hesitant to go with anything that would make it too harsh.
Gonna keep that intake for DD'ing in the winter? When it rains, it DUMPS here on the coast, so that's my only concern.

Apologies for the delayed reply. Ive been out on a flight contract.

I had investigated installing the H&R Front Sway bar a while back as I have one on my AUDI S4.

Now granted...H&R may have made changes from a couple of years ago but I read several posts where those who installed them...especially the front developed noise issues with the bushings wearing out prematurely. Lubrication etc. did not seem to help with some owners removing it and going back to stock.

Also...I believe the stock AMG E55 sway bar is 30mm and the H&R is as well...correct? So what is the main difference between the two?

Hopefully those were isolated issues but I did read several similar posts on different MBZ forums discussing the noise issues. According to one owner...he spent a considerable amount of time corresponding directly with H&R and was not able to solve his noise issues eventually removing it.

Please keep us posted and thank you for all the info you've been providing on your project and upgrades.

could you let me know on how/where you got your hands on those calipers? thinking of upgrading my stock E55 calipers to those. seems like mercedes never tried with the W210s ... on the caliper side that is.

thank you

Hello,

Can you please confirm the tire sizes you're now running with the 7mm front and 15mm rear spacers on the 19" rims?

Are you running a 255/35 -19 Front and a 285/30-19 rear Pirelli P Zero tires?

Thank you...!

Adam

yes, I can also get you the size of the hub ring I used in the front. It was custom made took a few weeks to get. But fit perfect, onto the wheel bearing cap

Awesome...Thank you...!

I missed the part of you having to use a hub ring.

Can you explain what the issue was?

I thought all of the hubs on the AMG factory wheels were 66.56mm.

I just picked up a set of 19" AMG wheels...8.5" front and 9.5" back with 39mm offset. They're forged 10 spokes.

I understand I'll need to run spacers front and rear. Not sure what thickness yet.

Planning to run a 245/35-19 front and a 285/30-19 rear.

Any advise you have is greatly appreciated...!

I believe after researching your E63 wheels that you said you used....They're the following...:
19x9 ET37 Front and 19x10 ET52 Rear.

Mine are the following:
19x8.5 ET39 Front and 19x9.5 ET39 Rear. Due to the difference in width and the close offset of the front, I should only need a 4-5mm spacer. Now the rear you used and the one I have are quite different in offset and slightly different in width.

I believe if I run a 275/30-19 or a 285/30-19 I should only need a 4-5mm spacer as well.

The rear wheel...

Great to see people still care about this car as I知 new to the threads. I知 looking for some headers in the event you all know any for sale. Have you swapped in coil overs? I知 thinking going that route via just replacement shocks and springs. I壇 like to have some adjustability. Thoughts?

Welcome Tom,

It all really depends on your budget. And economics.... for both headers, and coil-overs vs. lowering springs.
Why do you need adjust-ability (for height)? Do you really want to spend time (always adjusting)?

Some reading for your here
for starters.
