2 years of patience finally paid off during which time I had many frustrated moments when I wanted to buy project seats, after market seats even almost pulled a trigger on Recaro comfort seats for $3500. Seats look almost brand new and comes with the railings and all wires though i had to drive 7 hours each way to immediately retrieve them
With cleaning and conditioning, they would be as good as a used set from 20 years ago, can get

The adjustable seat controls hopefully work. I don't believe mine have ever worked since I bought it back in 2015 which it had 102,000 on the car.
so no worries. It's a pretty simple system. You can access all the lines via the back panel. A couple screws on the back panel at the bottom and push down to remove. Next thing to check would be compressor or fuses.
I had a leaky side bolster and replaced it as well as added more padding.
Had these Forgestars custom made 19 x 9 - 255/35 and 19 x 10 - 295/30 --- absolute no rubbing and no spacers
Have not taken it out for spin yet.
Pretty pleased with them so far,
Ran into a little snag when took it our for a spin. One of the rear wheel started making kinda ticking sound and after couple of hours of poking around, turned out to be the lug botls that were tad bit longer, fixed. Still haven't taken it out yet and tried duplicationg the sound while on the lift, nada, sounds good.
Took it out for a spin and absolutely no vibration, drove buttery smooth.
Need to get planted sliding rails to lower the Recaros a little bit and also be able to move the seats back and forth
Have a thicker sport steering wheel, need to install that now
Transmission fluid needs changing too

As you all have already read in my other thread " Flex Fuel Pump " I have ran into a snag trying to find the right fitting for the aftermarket fuel filter housing.
One lesson learnt owning this modified car, when you start ****ing with a car, whether you are buying a new part or using bloody scavanged parts off other cars, please write down the friggen part numbers or some sort of reference so when the next owner runs into a problem he knows exactly what the **** is on the car and what to order.
Looking for a shop near Louisville, KY familier with working on the modified cars especially mercedes, need to simplify and clean up the car. Don't mind driving upto 200 miles from Louisville to a good reputable shop
Do you think I would need to retune it if I got rid of the Cone air intake and got a RennTech instead?
The current set up (Recaro side mounts ) sit bit too high for my liking and is fixed, not ideal if someone else wants to drive the car
Today ordered these planted side brakets with Recaro sliders and the set up sits about an 1" lower and I be able to move the seat back and forth too.
Transmission was rebuilt about 30K miles ago by Southern Hot Rod so thought about getting the transmission oil looked at and here's the report
Car has 163K miles
Success at last, Fuel filter is finally fixed ( New filter housing/filter, AN fittings and new compression clamps) and the car is screaming like a banshee
I can not imagine car had such a dirty fouled fuel filter all this time, no wonder it never ran right
Will try to post some sound clips and videos tomorrow
